Once again, ConEst has demonstrated their ability to see into the future needs of electrical estimating and project management. The new Version 4 IntelliBid is a definite winner. Congratulations on a job well done.

The greatest concern an estimator has with an upgrade to their estimating system, when a new database is introduced and recommended in order to take full advantage of the program's new features, is losing the customized items and assemblies that have been added to their existing database over the years. In fact, much of the literature that accompanied the new version 4 release recognized this concern…the ConEst team has been around the estimating block enough times to be able to relate to issues like this.

There IS good news! Tech Support saw this problem and provided a quick solution. Items within the old database can be copied, cut, and pasted to the new V4 database thus saving hours of tedious input. Now, all of the customized items can be put into takeoff and/or user defined assemblies. Outstanding job!

Again, hats off to ConEst! Keep up the good work, and thank you for making my job easier and, without a doubt, more accurate.
